Sonic has been reborn with the premier of sonic X on saturday, September 6, 2003, on the Fox Box. This series will run 52 episodes...let's talk a little bit about sonic's history!

Sonic began as a video game for the sega genisis console in 1991. It was an instant hit and spawned many games and tv series'. Tons of games were then created such as sonic adventures, sonic adventures 2, and sonic adventures 3. Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Pinball, and Sonic 3D. Newer games are now available like Sonic DX, Sonic Adventures for the dreamcast, and Sonic Battle 2x and 1.
In the early 90's a sonic tv series was created called The Adventures of Sonic. Basically it was not to good. It featured happy little animal friends fighting Dr. Ro"butt"nick and eating chilli dogs. It featured a girl named Sally who was like Tail's mother. Sonic X changes all of that
Meet sonic! The fastest hedgehog alive. In fact the fastest creature alive. And when sonic goes "super sonic" and turns all gold. He's even faster. But Super Sonic is nothing compared to the speed of "Hyper Sonic" featuring sonic in a lighter almost turquoise blue. Sonic get's transported to earth in the first episode due to a blast from the Chaos Emeralds. Here he meets his friend Chris who is a 12 year old boy, and enemies, like the police. Sonic is now 14. Miles "Tails" Prower, the piolet is pretty young. Only 8 actually. But he's still sonic's best friend. Amy Rose is still here too. Sonic likes her, but not the way she wants him too. Shes 12 years old and always chasing sonic around. Sonic though cant let things go to her head. Whether he does or not. He never even admits friendship to her. Knuckles the Echinda is back too. Knuckle's used to be bad but that's not in this series. He is the protector of the emeralds. As a 16 year old he can sometimes feel he has more power over the others. He is calm and cool, but he always helps out when needed. Other charecters also appear like Cream The Rabbit, Cheese the Chao, Big the cat, Chuck, Shadow The Hedgehog, Rouge the bat, Dr. Eggman, and Bokkun. I even think this anime spawned a movie or 2!
