Meet Luffy (loo-fee). He can remind you a lot of Dragonball Goku. He's pretty young and is always looking for adventure. Together, him and his crew made up of Himself, Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoah Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and moer to come.
Luffy: When Luffy was little his idol Shanks gave him a straw hat before he left Luffy's port. Luffy treasures this. He wants to become a pirate just like Shanks. The problem is that he accidentally eats the Gum Gum Devil Fruit. Now Luffy can't swim. But that's not stopping him from searching for "Gold Roger's" One Piece at the grand line. The person who can find that is going to be "The King Of The Pirates".
Roronoah Zoro: Zoro made a vow when he was little to become the worlds most famous swordsman. When he left his home to search for pirates as "Zoro, The Great Pirate Hunter" he was captured by Axe Hand Morgan and the navy. Luffy though frees the navy of the evil axe hand morgan's crew and get's him to become his first mate. Zoro and Luffy really look out for eachother. Zoro is an amazing fighter and the first to join Luffy's crew.
Nami: Nami is the second person to join Luffy's crew. She's his navigator and probably the best there as at determining the seas. He was deffinatly tough to get on the crew though. Nami hates pirates because they're so evil. But when Luffy rescues a dog from the evil Buggy she realizes that he's not evil..he's just an innocent guy looking for the one piece and she joins his crew. Not much of a fighter, but deffinatly an excellent navigator.
Usopp: Usopp caries an unparalleld sling-shot and is amazing at it. He want's to be the greatest and bravest sea warrior and he most likely will be. He is an excellent addition to Luffy's crew and is probably going to play a key role against enemies.
Sanji: Sanji has an amazingly swift and powerful kick. But he strives to become the world's greatest chef. Luffy's whole crew seems to wanna be the best something. And with this additon they have an excellent fighter and a great cook.
Lady Alveda: The first enemy Luffy must face if you dont count the mountain men in Volume 1. She's an incredibly fat and obese woman. She is horrible to Koby, but Luffy takes care of her and rescues Koby.
Koby: Koby did not join Luffy's crew because Koby wanted to join the Marines. And Koby ended up doing so even though he did become Luffy's first friend on his journies.
Colonel Morgan: The leader of the marines before Luffy overthrows him. His right arm has been replaced with an axe. He's not somebody you want to mess with. He's a very evil man, and the marines hated being under his rule.
Shanks: Luffy's child idol. Shanks is one of the best pirates there is. He sailed away from Luffy's port when Luffy was still a boy giving him only his straw hat.
Gold Roger: The Legendary pirate who hid the treasure of the One Piece on the Grand Line and started the age of piracy in the world.
Clown Pirate Buggy: Even though i've put him last. Don't mis-judge him. Buggy is one of the toughest enemies out there. Since he ate the devil fruit as well he can shoot is hands at people. Buggy has an excellent and very evil crew as well...but hes a big touchy about his clown nose. (yeah...he'll kill you if you make fun of it...)
